By coming directly from our very efficient rawhide suppliers, our high quality German hides arrive fresh (not preserved with salt) at the tannery.

This just-in-time system insures that all fresh hides get processed the very same day of arrival. The advantage of this system is that our hides do not get certain grain damages that can be caused by this salting process. This is important when it comes to high end aniline or semi finished leather products. In regards to waste water, it is also an environmentally friendly process as well.

For higher cutting yield and efficiency, German hides are unique from other hide producing regions in the world, due to their large size and overall quality.
